This is a type of rice cracker where nori (seaweed) is rolled around a thin and elongated mochi. The Shinagawa region in Tokyo has been known as a nori-producing area since the Edo period. Seasoned with strong soy sauce flavor, it is sure to become addictive when enjoyed with some cold sake.
